MadLab Theater offers Roulette one-act series
Local underground theater Mad Lab gets into the swing of spring this May with it's annual Theater Roulette series, featuring consecutive nights of cutting edge one act plays. Every weekend (Thurs./Fri./Sat.) in May the theater will show 3-4 one act plays each night. This year's Roulette will feature "I Was Never Moved By The Lord", a play by local musician/writer Lizard McGee that focuses in on an evening at an Appalachian church service gone awry. Theater Roulette is always an audience favorite featuring $8 tix with a sliding ticket scale.
I Was Never Moved By The Lord shows at 8pm on the following nights:

2. The premier of local film "Unknown Mysteries"
Also this weekend ("at an undisclosed date/time"), There will be a private screening of the new local movie "Unknown Mysteries"- which is a mockumentary investigating the depths of the paranormal. This indie film was written and directed by Cowtown hipster Jake Saint ( late of the bands Clay and Flipping Hades) and features performances by many local art regulars and members of the bands Townsmen, Earwig, The Bygones and many, many more. With MadLab's limited seating, this will be a private screening for Cast & Crew from the film. The film has been submitted to several festivals and a proper public showing is in the works with a local theater. please contact :
