Matt Crumpton, who is a music lawyer, and founder of Music Loves Ohio, has put together a great, FREE panel discussion for musicians tomorrow and I thought I'd pass his info along!

This Friday, October 9 is the Musician Inc: The Working Artist Conference! The conference is brought to you for free by Crumpton Law LLC, the Columbus Music Co-op, Central City Recording, and The Sports & Entertainment Law Association at the Moritz College of Law. Panels begin at 1:00 and last until 5:00 P.M.

The event is being held on Ohio State University’s campus at the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), which is just Southeast of Ohio Stadium. The best place to park is in the Neil Avenue Parking Garage.

This year’s confirmed panelists include platinum producer/engineer Eddie Ashworth and Saving Jane singer Marti Dodson. Eddie has worked with a number of notable artists, including Sublime, Pennywise, Great White, Slightly Stoopid, Blackalicious, and Unwritten Law. Eddie mixed and engineered Sublime’s debut album , which has sold over 5 million copies and contains the hit songs What I Got, Santeria, and Wrong Way. Marti is the singer and songwriter for Saving Jane, a band whose hit song Girl Next Door, reached # 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to being a touring rock singer with commercial radio success, Marti is an Ohio State University alum.
