Oh Sees, Sic Alps, and Ty Segall are touring together from San Francisco they'll be joining us this Friday at the Summit. You can listen to Oh Sees on myspace at Check out Sic Alps at . Their new U.S. E.Z. lp on Siltbreeze is a slow creeper, so you might want to get acquainted first. Saw the Oh Sees open for the Fall a while back. I thought they were really good. They sounded a lot like the Vaselines. "Let's stick together You know, we made a vow, not to leave one another, never." |

The Oh Sees records are great. Highben played Sucks Blood at Bobo at some point last year and I was hooked. I hear they are awesome live. Adam Smith says so too, so that should be enough. Dwyer's bands are always solid live. The Ty Segall stuff I'm listening to right now on myspace is really great too. And of course Sic Alps are stupid good. RTFO cherry on top. You should be at this show. I will be attending the Brooklyn version on Sunday. |
