forgive me, it's been a looooong year

I'd have to put Wilco as tied with Electric Eel Shock as my best concert of the year. It was back last winter, but I still don't know how I could have forgotten it. The show I saw was at a chapel at Union College outside of Albany, NY. We sat in pews, and the acoustics (in a venue which usually holds classical music performances) were the best I've ever heard. Just felt compelled to add it.

And here's another show that I forgot, but for a reason. The Beck/Flaming Lips show was excellent, but disappointing. Apparently Beck had the flu and puked offstage in between encores and I was disappointed the Lips played such a short opening act. I've seen Beck way better, but I guess that show would earn an honorable mention.

I guess I've got a check out this LP character. And, of course, Miranda Sound.

And I need to get myself to a Wilco show. Too bad I missed out on the last year's worth of concerts...forgive me, I discovered them a bit late.
