sorry for cluttering up your inboxes during these times of constant "breaking news"... but we've got a few Wilco show announcements plus ticketing information.

first, tickets are on sale now for a handful of WILCO shows in the Eastern/Southeastern US in late April and early May. These include Lexington KY, Burlington VT and Memphis TN. Specifics on these dates are at http://wilcoworld.net/tours

also, as many of you have heard, Wilco and Sonic Youth will be doing some dates together this summer, only a few of which are confirmed. Those are 23 June @ Boston Fleet Pavilion and 26 June @ NYC Summerstage in Central Park. Tickets for NYC go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 27 March) at 12 noon est via wilcoworld and, yes, ticketmaster. Boston tickets go on sale Friday 28 April 10am est in a limited ticket pre-sale for Wilcoworld only. Regular on sale for Boston is 04 April at 10am edt.

just to complicate our/your lives further, Wilco will be doing a few dates with the Minus5 (the Minus5 for these dates consists of Wilco + Scott McCaughey and any other stragglers they pick up along the way) in the midst of the Wilco tour. These are 16-17 April at the Abbey Pub in Chicago (tix on sale now at http://www.abbeypub.com ) and 29 April at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Bowery tix are on sale now at http://www.ticketweb.com. Just one note re: this....these are not Wilco shows, they're Minus 5 shows. Although we have absolutely no idea what that means. The Minus 5 will be appearing on The David Letterman Show on 29 April as well.... conceivably while they're performing at the Bowery. Crazy, huh?
