I'm buried up to my neck in indie rock (many self-released) CDs that need reviewed for Swizzle-Stick.com. The pay sucks ($0 per review) but it's all about the self gratification of seeing your name in cyberspace, right?

Aren't I supposed to be writing reviews for SS instead of posting on here? my bad.

I am just trolling around the various msg boards, waiting for work to end so I can run off to the homestead (aka my 1-br apt.) to prepare myself mentally for the Godspeed show this evening.

I assume it will be really lame since I just read the review from the Washington Post. However, since I own almost all of their stuff and enjoy listening to it, I will probably stay awake during the show. Who knows? It's close to 80 degrees here today and that means the club will be like a sauna. I might pass out before it starts.
