An interesting show last night. About midway through his 3rd song a fuse blew and the PA went out. The crowd helped sing along to finish the song but replacing the fuse took about 5 minutes and Paul was put in a position to ad lib. He verbally torched Dusty and Lou but at the same time he became comfortable with the crowd and loosened up a little.

He was having fun once the technical difficulties were done but felt compelled to take a 2 minute break to talk between songs.

He played 80 minutes and 25 of those was talking. I took the liberty of removing all the talk so the download is 19 songs/56 minutes.

I missed the Ex Whites set but did catch the Pat Dull set and will post later today.

Enjoy,

consumate professionalism. Highly wrought. A tribute to the tradition of powder pop hit making.

People like Paul Collins have been selecting for listenability for the last 30 years and people only seem to be realizing now that its boring not pouring drivel in ones ear canal. For pleasure.
