I think the double disc is terrible, but I think anytime Ryan strays from his more folky, eclectic work, the results aren't that great. I was excited to hear this release, and so disappointed with the results.

I haven't listened yet, but he's so prolific that he puts out more filler than anyone can handle.

If he were to really dig in and only release albums of his best stuff then we'd have 6 Easy Tiger records already. I personally find it hard to dredge through the idea of another Ryan Adams double disc.

I love him, but he's sure asking a lot of me.
