If you weren't there, you missed out. It was incredible.

Spiral Stairs is balding. The rest of the guys have maintained nice hair lines.

This show confirmed my thinking that Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is the best Pavement album.

No Age was loud. My wife wanted to know if the sound in the LC was shitty or if it was just the band. I thought they sounded great and will go see them whenever Benco books a Columbus show.

No Age played Columbus at the Wexner Center on 11/19/08. For all of us who have been on No Age since the get go.

To say that Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is better than Slanted and Enchanted is stretching it. Both fantastic records.

I'm sorry, but no way was there nor will there be a better show in Columbus this year than that.

I love Pavement, but, I couldn't agree with you with any amount of confidence knowing that GBV is coming to town in just a few weeks They always killed live, Bob's engaged in the business of rock more now than ever and this lineup's live energy was essentially unmatchable in the early 90s.

This is all way too subjective, of course. I love both bands.

Does anybody else think there are too many concerts in town? Without even checking the papers I know of at least five shows in Columbus this month. We get it--verse, chorus, verse--la di fucking da.

No doubt. Same local bars, same bartenders, same friends, same beers, same instruments, same 100 yard dash races at midnight with the same local manic drunks. what the fugg ever. So over it. I am brewing my own beer which should be done in a couple weeks. Then, I'm going to start building my own instrument. I have some rad BACABA structured progressions to rock out on it; that's right- starting with the 2nd part, first.

I just planted a never heard of hybrid vegetable underneath my floorboards that's gonna kick some a$$ when it's deep-fried and it will also double as great album cover art when it's ripe and ready for a photo shoot.
