Wexner Center Performance Space



The legendary German band NEU! released only three albums in the early 1970s that showcased Michael Rother's darkly droning electric guitar excursions lifting off over Klaus Dinger's propulsive motorik drumming. While assembling the recently released NEU! vinyl box set, Rother was inspired to invite Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth and Aaron Mullan of Tall Firs to perform the music of NEU! in concert with him. They'll also offer selections from Rother's stint in Harmonia, a group Brian Eno called "the world's most important rock band."

i saw this for free at lincoln center in new york - definitely worth checking out. don't know how much wexner is charging but if you like neu! as much as i do...this is a fucking dream show.

Quite amazing. Though I don't think Steve Shelley could keep up. So I suppose without Klaus Dinger, you can't call it Neu!
