I don't care about truffle fries, misguided politics, getting married to richer people or street cred. This is an interesting album. It is flawed, much like her earlier efforts. But it reaches for something different and when it works it really kicks ass. |

Piracy funds terrorism = her most listenable recording... down hill from there i think... i never hated anything she did until this record, though... i really like the song born free... and i do like that mr martin rev performed with her on letterman... but the rest of the record just illustrates how "dubstep producers" are not really record producers... just people who know how to modulate the filter on a bass line.... this would have been better if El-P produced it... love that guy. |
