listened to oingo boingo's "private life" when i woke up - great as always. know what to expect there. had a giant fritter from buckeye donuts that was worth easily $2.75 more than i paid for it and an orange 'juiced' rockstar. those things are getting harder and harder to find. excellent. showed up a halfhour early for my cmc tent shift at the plbo and sat in a chair. eventually helped to sell at least two items and hang a banner. met girl.e's mom briefly. fully support sbb. heard a jenny mae song i recorded over the pa a few times. shot the shit with bim, sperry, szymuzak, kills, actionman, some daycreepers and pizza slayers, bo davis, &c. sweatheart really got it goin' with a gotdam robot on stage and the shakeweight. special guest barry from the eastenders showed up with two scorchin' tunes of his own and some serious gtr wail/shred. ppl started linin' up outside and someone had to leave so they could come in so i left, but not before i could shoot a little more shit with mr. pat dull, esq. and sir d. anthony norris. dirty frank's rocked it and i had a coupon on the day. stopped back to get my bike, checked out a couple three gibsons tunes ("they all sound like stagger lee." -dude) and found that the absolute best sound was in the alley behind the place. (srsly. and a ton of other folks figured this too.) redistributed some drink tickets and went home fer toothbrushing and bugspraying. hightailed it down to the old homestead on neil and walked the last 35 yards to chemical abstracts. some heavymetal combo (was it lopan?) was hammering it home in an open courtyard show but as it is we just got to the lawn in time to hear the closing strains of "glory of love". found our dudes and cetera proceeded to DESTROY a few thousand suburbanites with his oddball jokes and heavenly pipes. version of "25 or 6 to 4" is giving me goosebumps right now just thinking about it. needed to last at least another hour and a half. went to the grocery and saw abstraction and snarky. watched some animal planet (WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE CHINESE CRESTED'S TONGUES) and ate taco pizzas. glorious sleep followed.

reviews of the things i did not see plz

Seriously sad to have missed Cetera. Thought it would be a good place to take the entire family. But, when it came down to it, if spending the money to take the wife and kids to a show, Weezer at the fair won out over Cetera at Chem Abs.

For some reason these embeds were getting squished to 4x3. Not sure if it's Vimeo or the embeds.

I have a few more to render and upload. At some point I'll probably replace these with HD versions, when I get some time.

Added another Gibson Bros. clip:

Couple Eye clips and couple more Scrawl clips should be up later today.

All the sets were recorded at the streaming camera in HD. I haven't looked at any of the tapes yet, so I can't vouch for how good they'll look (they were framed kinda crappy, I can guarantee that) but at some point in the next couple weeks they'll be digitized. Not sure where I'm gonna put them yet.
