never used this unit in particular, but i've used feedback loopers before. they are both fun and annoying. overdrives, distortions and fuzzes will oscillate and howl. you'll reach for the controls to make it stop but you'll find that the labels of the controls are no longer applicable. it's odd.
the DBA pedal comes with a cool paint job, but there is no way it is worth $150. feedback loops are insanely easy to build. four jacks, one switch, one or two pots and an enclosure. you could probably fashion an exact replica for under $30.
another alternative is a pedal made by ohnoho called the chk chk boom. their website has some good videos of what you'll be in for and they sell them through their website for $50.
