the emeralds/samm goldberg tape and the emeralds/tusco terror - christmas 2007 tape have been getting a lot of play lately.

sidenote, sam has been finishing up his newest thing in our basement and listening to him is preventing me from getting anywork done (watching law and order). in other words...its good. john (mrlds) and sam have been working together on a project called FREE TIME which is pretty rad to. i highly suggest everyone hit up thursdayclub.net to get the stuff all these cats have been doing on wcsb. clvnds got the noise.

On the Emeralds note, there is a great piece in the Spring issue of "Married Life" where John discusses the band's discography. I found it pretty interesting. Haven't heard "Solar Bridge" yet unfortunately.

not goldberg...but the new self titled EMERALDS LP released by wagon/gneiss things is great as well!

in the same vein, i got the new oneohtrix point never "russian mind" from no fun. it's also pretty good although a little less rich than mist, emeralds or outerspace (o.n.p. is only one dude).

Digitalis Industries just re-released John Elliott's Imaginary Softwoods 3xCS release in 2xLP format. Sold out directly from the label as of this morning I think though.

william, i know I told you this already but you should really get some jean-michel jarre stuff. Oxygene and Equinoxe are the best. It's kind of corny but in a good way I would say.

yeah i got this double cd too.
also got the hive mind/garlos giffoni split on ultra eczema. it's pretty decent although i think i'm not a big fan of carlos giffoni.
you can find some jmj stuff at memory lane, last time i went there he had equinoxe/oxygene on a double vinyl.

ahh - is that a collaboration lp, or one track from each?
