Used Kids is having a Bill Callahan (artist formerly known as SMOG) release show for his new album, Sometimes I Wish I Were An Eagle, on Monday April 13th at 7pm. The show will feature a solo set by Bill Callahan. The show will start 7pm sharp-ish, so get there a little early, and it'll go until he disappears. The new album will be available. He's real good so you should show up. |

As great as the in-store was - and it was hella great - i'm digging the album even more. These arrangements are a near-perfect match to his vocals. Picked up the needle several times to listen to "Jim Cain" on repeat. Strong contender for album of the year. |

Yes, this was swell. I've never heard a dirty Easter joke before. I saw some guy give Bill Callahan his demo (comedy gold!). It really did look like there were a lot of burglars in the audience. |
