I think "Echoes" and the Dillard & Clark albums are the only really essential post-Byrds Clark out there, although some of the collections pull together the best tracks of his 70s output. But the operative word there is "70s." Some of his work from then just didn't age so well, in my opinion. It's OK. If you can find the album he did with Carla Olson in the 80s (So Rebellious A Lover, I think it's called), that one is pretty fookin' great, in particular their cover of Fogerty's Almost Saturday Night, which has some nice mandolin by Chris Hillman.
