I have to agree with most of what BS said, although Murder Ballads is one of my favorites. The only albums he really lost me on were No More Shall We Part, Nocturama, and Abattoir Blues/Lyre Of Orpheus. I'd say all the rest are essential. If you like the more ballad-y stuff, get those too. I know Dollar Lamp prefers Nick the troubador to feral Nick. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Firstborn Is Dead. |
