America really needs its festival shows, hell Britian is just a small spit of land and they have at least double the quality and quantity of good festivals. I do really like the idea that both Tortoise and Sonic Youth are going to be playing festival dates, although if I had perfect free choice and a perfect wallet i'd be at Coachella with bells on. Man are there going to be a plethora of great bands there....*sigh*

i feel your pain, brotha seth. if you happen to miraculously obtain that free choice and a bit of dinero, take me with ya, eh? coachella, bonaroo, and radiohead is now headlining glastonbury, hultsfred, AND belfort. and i will be here. working. in school. and still broke.

the frustration is exasperating.

Thanks for the sympathy, though its probably gone beyond exasperation now. Possibly even into the dark realms of desperation. Don't worry though if I do come into unlimited funds you'd definitely be in the first dozen or so I'd bring to Coachella. I'd say I'd kill to get to this show but I don't think that would really help me all that much. But to see the Stripes (as well as many others) at a beatiful out-door site? It just might be worth it.
