Lifted from the Eyeball Kid.

"On Monday May 5 at 9 AM EST Tomwaits.com will show highlights from a press conference at which Tom Waits will announce his new site and a summer tour Glitter and Doom."

Buddy, are you that hard pressed for page views that you couldn't just share that information in the actual post? Share and share a like.

Could that grizzled, Scarlett-inspiring legend himself be coming to town? "Tune in if you can," the promoter suggests.

It kills me to pay that much to see anyone, but his show in Akron was worth it, even with the drive.

i think the proper adjusted for inflation price from the akron show would be 137.93. This is in US. I imagine that if you were buying in teh euros it'll be a sweet ass bargin.

Nah, there wasn't that much inflation from August 06 to today. If he was selling out rooms at $85 in 2006 he could be getting $100 or more today. Still $85 is pricey but I'll pay it.

What venue would he play if he stopped in Columbus? Mershon? Vets?

i think he only plays vets when he tours with cheap trick.

it seemed like he was playing upscale joints on that last tour... outside of the HOB gig.

it would be nice if he did a bowling alley tour.

Tom Waits in Columbus > Comfest.

I agree with this. Although Free > $85.

Although you get what you pay for.

What is everyone's cut off ticket price? I can't see paying more than $50-60 for this...

I don't have an exact number, but it's a whole hell of a lot higher than it was the last time he toured.

If you can, just save a little bit extra for it. You'll be glad you did.

You'll just have to come back for Comfest every year like everybody else.
