there are many people recording, both audio and video. no one cares.

1st night went well except parlour took just as long to set up as the last time I saw them. Highlight of the night for me was the photographic. hopefully with alternating between indoor and outdoor stages the times will run smoother today.

i would maybe suggest bringing a cooler for your car. there's not a lot of food/drink on site and it's a bit expensive but the parking is easily close enough to run out to your car between bands.

so yeah, felt like shit all weekend and left right before motorpsycho on saturday to head back for the greenhorn/BB40 show. Overall I didn't enjoy terrastock as much as I had hoped although that's probably mostly due to feeling ill. Saturday was pretty awesome. Friday wasn't that great but I liked the linus pauling quartet quite a bit and had never heard of them before. Thursday was pretty good except that much like last time I saw them, parlour took way too long to set up.

I had a great time. Drank and smoked way too much. Met lots of crazy people. I loved the venue, it was like the short north in a box. Got into the mellow/ drone stuff more than the rock. I liked almost every band.

Hush Arbors, United Bible Studies, Sharon Kraus, Antietam, Oneida, MV/EE, Pelt, Jack Rose, Batoh, TJO were some of my favorites.

Simply Saucer rocked which made me happy. My mind was crushed by Oneida which made it hard for me to focus on Wooden Shijps.

Entrance Band and Plastic Crimewave Sound were both lame to me. Both were just a bunch of posturing that never hit any sonic bliss.

Kawabata's set was was one of the most intense noise sets I have ever heard. So brutal yet pretty.

The band with the Apples in Stereo guy was the only set that I thought just straight up sucked. Byron Coley was selling records.

It was cool to get to see so many bands I am a fan of at one time in such a intament and strange setting. Made some new friends with people from all over the place. One of the best weekends of music I have ever had.

I stood next to Ira Kaplan in the beer line.

Pretty cool facility. I expected many more people.
