BOC-(the one with Shes a beautiful as a foot)

The Mothers of invention-Mothermania (uncensored european release)

And planet Tj you have a great point. The hilltop rulz rr. Although I think outland might be in "historic franklinton" otherwise know as the bottoms. Floodplain of columbus.

lots and lots of Jazz from '45 to '70. Mostly the 1950's.

Just picked it up for $6 at the new Half Price Books in Worthington. Halfway through and it's definitely a good purchase.

It's all crap! All this new music sucks! No one sounds like they say they do. No matter what kind of influences they say they have. And no matter what kind of music it is in every genre.Everyone is trying to be so different that they are forgetting what roots they once had.I'm not saying you should be a fucking out right rip off, but don't forget your musical background and the bands you once loved. For example,...Don't throw away your Johnny Thunders for fucking White Stripes! And if your a metalhead don't trade in your old Overkill & Metallica albums or you'll have a Puddle of Shit with Korn in it!

Yo Louie Vitton,
Faces, Pet Shop Boys, Miles Davis, BOC, and MOI are hardly new artists. Theres no reason to be all snarky. Stop with the diatribes. Tell us what you've been listening to lately. It seems as though you like Johnny Thunders. And there is about a bazillion gooddirty rock bands in this town.

so there really is still a music-focused board where BOC stands for Blue Oyster Cult and not Boards of Canada.

Snarky, you the best. Reminded me that I had this old classic in my car.

"A boot to your forehead. A knee in your face.
Your nose and lips start to bleed.
Like a wild Indian from outer space
Drunk and high on weed".

picked up a drift remix LP last night with remixes by four tet and sybarite that is really good.

also picked up their album on CD since I love it and don't find myself listening to the LP enough.

Joe Rogan has a new comedy CD out called shiny happy jihad which is much better than his first disc from what i've heard of it so far. it seems like just a stand up show without the dumb skits from the first album.

the last 5 songs on the new NIN disc sound amazing when cranked up on a stereo with a good subwoofer.

and too much joy in preparation for seeing them in a few weeks. :D

No, but seriously. It's great. And some enterprising internetter made remixes of a couple of the originals that mix in the strings...awesome.
