CALL FOR VENDORS
URBAN SCRAWL 5
Saturday August 27th, and Sunday August 28th, 2011
Franklinton Arts District
The Franklinton Arts District is currently looking for arts and crafts vendors for our Urban Scrawl Festival. The festival features the live creation of temporary murals by artists, live music, breakdancing, a kids creativity area, and art, craft, and food vendors. Due to renovations at Dodge Park, the event will be held this year at 400 W. Rich St., a former factory warehouse that now includes artist studios and rehearsal spaces for musicians.
This is a great opportunity to sell your work to a large, diverse community of art enthusiasts over the course of this exciting 2-day event.
Vendors will be given a 10 x 10 indoor area (with a few outside spaces available), and will need to provide their own tables and set-up displays, and tents if you need one for the outdoor space. The festival is Saturday August 27th 12-9pm, and Sunday August 28th 12-6pm. ENTRY PROCEDURE
For consideration, vendors must e-mail 5-8 examples of current items (JPEGs only). Make sure to include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your work. Include if you have an indoor or outdoor preference with your application. All entries must be received by Wednesday August 17th. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by Friday August 19th.ACCEPTANCE FEE
Upon acceptance participating vendors will be required to pay a $25 non-refundable fee to Franklinton Arts District.SEND ENTRIES TObsm62852@wowway.com
