More specifically for a Rhodes Mark I ? It's tuned a half step sharp and I want it standard..I also want this done in my home. Way too heavy to drag around. Thanks in advance.. |

If you're still looking, I have tuned these in the past. It's not hard to do, just time consuming. There are small, coiled springs on each tine...you move them with a screwdriver------slide them forward or back----to tune. Problem is, if you put too much pressure on it can snap/break the tine. To do the whole piano, expect to spend the better part of a Saturday afternoon. Grab a digital tuner, small screwdriver, roll a joint and have at it |

yeah..thats pretty much what im gonna do. So you'd say ok to go with a standard tuner and not a strobe? |

I think so, yeah.....that's what I've used and it worked well. I have found videos on youtube for Wurlitzer Elec Piano repairs.....there may be a few on tuning a Rhodes. |
