Lebron to announce his decision this Thursday at 9 pm. I really don't think he will stay in Cleveland. I think the bettors agree cause the odds have been pulled. |

I dont think anything is set in stone, but I find it very hard to believe that if he was jumping ship that he would put on a 1 hour special rubbing Clevelands nose in it. He still has strong ties to Northeast OHIO ans ESPN's job at this time is to pump this thing up as big as possible, they have to create an uncertainty to drum up interest and anticipation |

Fuck that guy. He's had it in for Lebron for quite some time. If it wasn't for superstars like James this guy would still be reporting on 4-H rallies at county fairs which isn't to say he shouldn't be doing that anyway. I hope he's stays but the Cavs had their chance and spare me the "but he was surrounded by talent" talk. This team won A-Rod style by winning games and building stats when it didn't matter. No player, including Jordan, wins a championship in the NBA without an awesome #2 guy. |

He is making his announcement at a Boys & Girls Club in Greenwich, CT. I think this is a lose-lose situation. If he leaves Cleveland, people will be pissed, if he stays in Cleveland, fans and media in NY, Chicago, etc will feel used and lash out. He is overexposing himself. I would have preferred he faxed in his decision a'la Michael Jordan. People all over ESPN are saying "my sources say New York," "my sources say Miami," etc etc. Covering all sides and overhyping the event. Their hyperbole is what makes their radio stations and TV channels almost unwatchable/unlistenable anymore. One guy on ESPN said yesterday that the LeBron announcement will be an event where 20 years from now, people still remember where they were when it happened. I find that hard to believe. I doubt I'll stick around a TV to watch tonight. What do you do for an hour special on an announcement that takes 5 seconds? Questions - will this really be as high rated of an event as "experts" are saying? Maybe I am out of it, but I don't think many people really care about this. If he goes to Miami, how can they afford Bosh, Wade, and LeBron and still be under the salary cap? No matter what happens, Miami is DWade's team. |
