Columbus area restaurant additions/closures

new Indian restaurant coming to Grandview, in the space formerly Thom's On Grandview.

Will be called Aab India, owned and operated by the owners of the Ambar India and Baba India restaurants in Cincinnati.

Also, heard recently the Dog Joint in Westerville closed.

i was actually going to post last night how no place's closing has bummed me out as much as losing sinbad's a few years back did.

Anyone know what kind of restaurant the Daeoh group is opening in the old G&co/Paul Robinette space? I was suprised to hear they're expanding considering the desperate-looking 'new lower prices' vinyl banner outside Black Olive.

It's directly across the side street from Black Olive, previously recognizable by the Ed Hardy and rhinestones in the large glass front and side windows, backed by the Paul Robinette candle shop. I heard the guy who owns Black Olive/Tyfoon/Shoku was opening something there, though I assume that will take quite a while.

More pizza for Grandview. On 1st Avenue in Grandview, in the old laundromat space across from the Grandview library, there is a banner hanging up for Massey's Pizza.

Extreme Weiners is closing, and Tuesday is the last day... If you haven't tried it, I would say you should get there while the gettings good, but then you'll just be depressed about how you wasted your life up until now.
