The "issue" (and why it's not comparable to the PLBO) is that it's in an open, public park. It's not too difficult to see where/how (mis)perception(s) arise. |

i am happy that people are maybe starting to understand that these are community organizations getting special permission to sell alcohol for charitable causes (don't forget all of the grants comfest gives out every year in addition to the free line up of music and fun)... i cannot speak for comfest, but every person who tries to bring in outside alcohol to HCYW (and this has been an issue) jeopardizes not only our ability to throw future events, but also our organization's future sustainability. |
