Didn't see anything on this, so thought I'd post: Renowned author David Sedaris is coming to town! On Friday, June 5th, at 7 pm he'll be in German Village's Book Loft to read some from his latest collection of essays, "When You Are Engulfed in Flames". Book Loft's website mentions his appearance, as well as a special that if one pre-orders the paperback version of his latest collection, you can get a "priority pass" whatever that means. |

Do they mean "on the street in front of the bookloft"? Cuz I'm trying to imagine a single room in the book loft where more than six people could comfortably stand at the same time. And we're talking about a guy who could probably fill Mershon for a talk. Do not get. |

I was on vacation out west a few years ago and I found out that Sedaris was speaking at a theater in town. I went over to see if tickets were available and how much they were, and it was sold out. Sold out of paid tickets for a 600 seat theater. Either he is much more popular out west, or good luck Book Loft! |

yeah he did a reading at ohio theater or one of the other very large theaters in downtown columbus and sold it out a few years ago... |
