As if the Grandview area needed another pizza joint.

This place opens on 5th Avenue, east of Grandview Avenue, in a few weeks.

speaking of pizza's . . . which one should i try first: rubino's or bexleypizzaplus?

the trial pizza at both will most likely be double sausage & onion

rubino's is the one right nest door to BPP, right?

+1 on dewey's. can't wait for this joint to open. grandview pizza joints (excepting rotolo's) are pretty weak, methinks.

i saw people in there sitting at tables last week, so i wonder if they had a soft open already. if today is the day (and i think you're right, greenhorn), i think i know how i'm celebrating fat tuesday:

anyone tried that magic mushroom pizza place up on polaris next to five guys burgers yet? I'm pretty sure they just opened in the last few weeks too.

hit it up yesterday. it was pretty good. I like it for specialty pizza and a nice "clean" dining vibe. wifey said it reminded her of a dimly lit chipotle.

tried the:

cheese: good. needed more sauce. cheese was good. i realized the crust is pretty simple. pizza was a little undercooked.

hawaiian: nothing extraordinary at all. save your money. get grandads, adriaticos or even donatos.

their specialty pizza was ryan's inferno - a buffalo chicken pizza that was decent. chicken, celery, red onions, and maybe a white sauce?

left the place a little underwhelmed -- but i also did not get to re-order the green lantern and try it again. it's nice to have another change of pace pizza dining option in columbus. on a typical dining in pizza day i still prefer hound dogs or grandads but this place would be good for date night and non-dive-dining experiences.
