So, I'm watching with some glee as Petro and Blackwell put the claws to eachother, but there's a serious side of me that is concerned about this race. I have zero love for either of them, but I think I hate Blackwell just a little more. okay, I don't think, I know. So, couple questions as to how a Dem should view this:
1) is it preferable to hope Petro wins, thereby eliminating early on the worst case scenario of Blackwell in the governor's mansion?
2) Is it preferable that Blackwell wins because it will be easier for a strong democrate to win the middle votes by making Blackwell look like the two-faced, powerhungry, religious zealot that he is?
( I guess 1 & 2 are really just different versions of the question "which will be harder for a liberal to beat?)
3) If we assume that the first option is the case, how might someone from my side of the fence support (shudder) Petro?
3a) do we switch parties for the primary to vote against Blackwell? how hard is it to do that and switch back?
3b) should we send Petro money?
